This short 3 episode comic is about the struggles I faced as a ethnically Chinese child growing up in an environment where all people around me were seemingly not interested in the same things as me.
Ever since I was young I noticed how the things I liked watching and listening to never matched what my classmates and playmates watched and listened to. It never became an obstacle for me to make friends but it still has created a loneliness I felt within whenever I thought about my favourite TV series or my favourite song.
It is because of all this I jokingly called it the "Loneliest Hobby".
The comic features four languages - English, German, Swiss-German and Mandarin Chinese - to reflect my intercultural upbringing.
