
Together with team mate Jan Hobi we created the fun casual simulation action game "Shoe it All!".
In this project I was responsible for art direction, asset creation, texture painting and layout. We aimed to create an own visual language and have experimented with different art styles prior to finding the final one. I was heavily inspired by comic adaption animation movies such as Spiderverse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
All assets were modeled in Blender and then meticulously hand painted in Procreate. It is a very high effort art style but I think it was absolutely necessary to achieve the look we envisioned.





In Unity we further modified the look with shaders and outlines. Additional to the textures 2D animations were used bring in movement and to tie everything together.

Thanks to ProHelvetia "Shoe it All!" will be attending Gamescom 2024 and Tokyo Game Show 2024 under the Swiss Games banner.
